ABOUT ME
Formerly the Director of Voice User Interface Design at Wolters Kluwer Health (previously Emmi Solutions), I'm now freelancing in Mexico City. After 7 years in beautiful Chicago, I wanted to see more, learn more, and sharpen up my Spanish.
Through my time working in the US healthcare industry, I became acutely aware of how inefficient and inhumane our healthcare system can be, as well as how unjust it is for far too many: racial minorities, LGBTQIA+ individuals, women, lower-income people, those with criminal records, those who do not speak English, and more. I believe health is a human right, and my ambition is to support improvements in healthcare so everyone has a chance to thrive.

On the side, I do MMA (mixed martial arts), write short stories/poems, read, cook, and tend to my plants.
